Carola Allemandi, born in Turin in 1997, discovered photography by her own. Since 2019 she has been exhibiting in solo and group exhibitions in Italian galleries and museums. In September 2020 she publishes with Teca Edizioni a catalogue of her work "Notturni" with texts by Domenico Maria Papa and Ugo Castagnotto.

In 2021 she won the “Zenato Academy Prize” for photography at The Others Art Fair, Turin. Also in 2021, she collaborated on the artist's book ”Anatomia Umana” with a photographic reportage of the construction of Salvatore Astore's monumental work curated by Galleria Mazzoleni in Turin.

In 2022, she published a poetic syllogue, Sembrava il Sole, for the Edizioni Progetto Cultura publishing house in Rome for the Le Gemme series, edited by Cinzia Marulli.

In 2022 she also published the photographic book ”Presenze” (Presences) on his early research work for Atb Associazione Culturale in Turin with texts by Maria Erovereti.
Allemandi writes about photography for newspapers such as Doppiozero, Gazzetta Torino, Artribune, Small Zine and edits the editorial "Il contatto degli occhi col reale" for Torino Magazine.

In 2023, she won first prize in the 'First female work' section of the I Murazzi literary prize in Turin.
