Lele Gastini
Lele Gastini, illustrator and visual artist. Born in Alessandria in 1993, he moved to Milan in 2013 to study illustration and animation at IED MILANO (European Institute of Design). From 2017 to 2019 he worked for 63De-Sign Graphic Studio, before embarking on a freelance career from 2020.
A lover of black and white, he creates his works by hand or digitally, on walls and anything that can be decorated, trying to give shape to the images that fill his mind. The permanent exploration of black and white are the basis of his artistic research.

In 2022 Gastini created an artwork for FLOATING PIXELS for Miami Beach Art Exhibition (December 1-3, 2022) curated by ART INNOVATION GALLERY.

NEW YORK EXHIBITION WITH “TEMPORE” IN TIMES SQUARE DURING “FRIEZE”
The conflict between humans and money, the two faces of power wielded by individuals: freedom and imprisonment. The constant pursuit of consumption and the transformation of wealth from a medium to a sole purpose, indicate a period of time where humans and nature are interconnected in a cycle where individuals control and depend on their needs: human beings will dominate and survive the impact of money.
This work solidifies the collaboration between Lele Gastini and fellow composer Diego Ratto (TTØRA), who worked on the sound design. The artwork was curated by ART INNOVATION GALLERY for the exhibition "The Pixels Show" during Frieze in Times Square, New York. 15-21 May 2023
